Class Description:

  • The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) allows qualified retired LEOs (RLEOs) to carry a concealed firearm in any jurisdiction of the United States (regardless of state or local laws) with some exceptions.

  • An individual who qualifies under LEOSA does not need a state-issued carry permit to carry a concealed firearm.

  • Howe Safety & Defense, LLC. administers shooting qualifications that meet Minnesota peace officer training requirements as specified in the document titled, “In-Service Use of Force Learning Objectives for Peace Officers and Part-Time Peace Officers.”

  • Howe Safety & Defense, LLC. does not certify to an individual’s personal eligibility to carry a concealed firearm under LEOSA. Howe Safety & Defense, LLC. only certifies to the individual completing the shooting qualification.

  • In-Class: 0 hours

  • Range: 1 hour

  • Private classes and shooting lessons are booked first come first served.
