AR-15 Introduction & Defensive Shooting Fundamentals

USCCA - AR-15 Rifle Fundamentals
Class Description:
This is a USCCA certified AR-15 Rifle course. This course is broken down into two segments consisting of a classroom presentation and live-fire shooting activities. The classroom presentation introduces students to the AR-15. Students will receive instruction on the AR-15’s design, its components, and its operating system. Students will also be provided with instruction on: safe use & handling; proper shooting fundamentals; and considerations for using the AR-15 in self-defense. The live-fire shooting portion allows students to effectively apply these techniques under the direction of a USCCA certified instructor. The context of this training is focused on an armed citizen’s response and use of the AR-15 in self-defense.

How to improve skills and precision with an AR-15
Practical and cognitive shooting drills
Prerequisite:
Must not be prohibited from possessing a firearm under Minnesota State Statute 624.714.
This class is specific to the AR-15 platform.
Rifle must have attached Sling (2-Point Sling is Preferred)
Rifle must have an Optic or Iron Sights
Rifles must be ZEROED prior to class (50-Yard Zero is Preferred)
NOTE: USCCA membership is not required to attend this course.
